EMist was founded on a legacy of technology and industrial designs by our founder and inventor Mr. Mike Sides. Mike is an accomplished senior executive with more than 30 years of industrial engineering experience. Mike is an inventor on several patents including the EMist patented electrostatic technology. He has been designing and manufacturing electrostatic spray technology for over 30 years. With his experience and innovative technologies in vector control, he is recognized by his peers as an electrostatic industry expert. He has partnered with multiple entities including the Department of Defense, Naval Entomology Center of Excellence, and the United States Department of Agriculture, World Health Organization, International Pest Application Research Center, and many others on providing portable electrostatic designs. He continues with the development of new electrostatic innovative technologies with more patents pending and continues to be a large part of the electrostatic industry movement.
